Hot Fires Case Study
Background
This client is a successful retailer of high quality branded fires, stoves and fireplaces with a classy retail presence and brand. They knew however that the web was becoming increasingly important as a route to market for their products and wanted to capitalise on this without undermining their core brand.
We researched the market and then developed a new service offering and brand delivered through our Tienda online shop software customised to meet their specific requirements.
Since its launch mid 2009 the shop has performed way beyond their expectations supported by on and off page SEO and a brand driven Google Adwords Campaign.
Our Solution
- eCommerce Development – We developed a full eCommerce website for Hot Fires based on our in-house developed Tienda Online Shop system.
- Branding – Selling the sizzle not the sausage is key to this B2C brand and ecommerce site!
- Search Optimisation – The Tienda system's structure ensures each product and category has a dedicated, search optimised, page. This gives Hot Fires really high rankings for popular products and this has significantly driven sales.
- Usability – The clear page layout of the Tienda Online Shop system and general ease of use make it a breeze for shoppers, and means hot fires get relatively few shopping trolley abandonments.
- Security – Tienda holds no credit cards details making it safe and secure for consumers – combine this with a range of Payment Gateways, including Sage Pay and PayPal, as standard and it’s a compelling offer.
- Scalability – Tienda is designed to be highly scalable, and the shop has gradually grown to have nearly 1000 fires and accessories in it.
- Ease of Management – Behind the public web shop is a comprehensive and easy-to-use admin module and reporting suite which puts Hot Fires firmly in control of their product catalogue, prices, special offers etc. enabling them to react instantly to market changes.
